About Me
I'm a 30 year old technical guy working in a creative industry that has a lot of overlap with Photography. So I decided to get into cameras and never looked back.I have been exploring photography as a hobby for half a decade, taking every available evening and weekend to get out the my apartment, and dragging as much camera gear as I can carry on trips; local, domestic and across the globe. Taking over 100,000 shots in that time on digital bodies, and haven't counted film and other mediums.Like in my career in Games, I always try to be a trick of all trades so have been trying genres across the photography spectrum.
And am taking strides to find my photography focus as I try different mediums and focal lengths.
In time I aim to use focus on a subject matter and lean heavily into that and may hopefully make something more of Photography some day.As of now I am happy with my muses, putting my heart and soul (and my hard earned money) into everything photography.
Gear
On digital bodies I stick with Sony E as my main cameras, as I have bought in to the lens ecosystem.
However also have Canon, Fuji, Casio and Panasonic digital bodies I frequent.I have collected an assortment of film cameras from 10mm and 35mm, all the way to my medium format Mamiya RB68.
As well as many insta formats.There is just too much to love in the photography space.
Right now most are in storage as I travel with my wife and son, but I carry an assortment with me on my travels and will collect more.I've lost count of the amount I've spent on gear, but its in the tens of thousands ($).In my social links, I have put my email address if anyone ever wants to hire me to take any photos, or just want to ask questions or chat about gear and tips. I always love talking photography and will probably annoy you back.For those interested I shoot on an a7rV for most my work, a7C for my earlier stuff, and ZVe1 for all my videography.
